2018 Board of Director Elections

 You can view the current membership of our Board and the Responsibilities of a Board Member as outlined below:

  • The iSMA Board is a volunteer, working Board. Our goal is to have strong representation on the Board from all regions across the world.
  • Being a Board member involves helping with our workgroups and committees to advance iSMA initiatives and participating in at least four Board meetings and the Annual General Meeting each year. These meetings are typically held via conference call/webinar unless an opportunity such as a conference provides an opportunity to meet in person.
  • Board members serve for up to three years, can stand for re-election for a second three-year term, and can stand for election tothe Board’s executive committee, including president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer. For Board members joining in June 2018, the vice president and treasurer roles on the executive committee are open, as is the position of webinar manager.
